PURPOSE: Unmasking and Maximizing Your Inborn Resources to Fulfill Life’s Purpose
Introduction
Les Brown once said, “The graveyard is the richest place on earth because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry out their dream.” In this book, the emphasis is laid on the fact that everyone is uniquely talented to attain excellence in this world. The steps needed to discover every individual’s talents and uniqueness and how to maximize their use are described by using every letter of the word P-U-R-P-O-S-E. The first three letters, P-U-R denoting Potential, Uniqueness, and Reflection, are used to discover a person’s inborn resources. Additionally, how to match these discovered inborn resources with a possible career choice is considered. Then, the last four letters, P-O-S-E, which stand for Passion, Optimization, Strategy, and Evaluation, are regarded as principles for fulfilling and maximizing the use of any discovered inborn resources.
